Green Up Your Life: Dishwasher Edition

 My focus this month, is on how to GREEN UP YOUR LIFE, using doTERRA essential oils and products!

  Today I want to share how we have greened up our DISHWASHER recently, by making our own dishwashing powder and liquid.

  There is a safe, natural alternative to everything you are currently using!

  I want to help you live better, choose better and feel better with doTERRA, you NEVER oil alone!

​  Dishwasher recipe number 1, is in powder form:

  It uses Borax, Baking Powder, Salt and Essential Oils.  You can use Citric Acid if you need more help with hard water.

 NOTE: Fill the entire rinse compartment with white vinegar!!!

 I'll tell what I do know, it's a BETTER CHOICE than what is sold in the stores!  Yikes!

Our dishes came out sparkling clean! Batch two came out a tiny bit gritty so I am doing less powder and adding a teaspoon of our On Guard concentrate to it.

People with hard water will need to play with ratios too. You can also try recipe 2 instead, coming up.

Dishwasher Recipe 2:

1. 1Tablespoon of baking soda + 1/2 teaspoon On Guard Cleaner Concentrate in the detergent compartment.

2. Fill the jet dry compartment with white vinegar.
