I LOVE getting new Stitch Fixes to freshen up my wardrobe! And doTERRA Leadership retreat was just the time to get one coming my way. Here is what they sent me..... First up, the Brooklyn Dress...... Stitch Fix has the NICEST shoes! Soft, high quality leather and in this case, fabric. These are Nine West printed flats called "Speak up" they are nice and LOUD, which I LIKE! Next up, BB Dakota Sacha Cold Shoulder Knit Jumpsuit. I adore one piece outfits! I just struggle to find ones that accommodate my short torso. This one in particular was ill fitting and too tight. I put it on as a tank, and then realized its actually cold shoulder style but you can wear it either way! I put it on as a tank, and then realized its actually cold shoulder style but you can wear it either way! I really liked this Elissa Ruffle Detail Blouse. I feel like you could do it with slacks and heels or shorts and sandles and make it go either way. Its a nice blouse-y fabric. Last but totally not least, my favorite and a for sure keeper: Derica Cold Shoulder Knit Top! This is more of my normal style, and it's nice to be pushed outside my little cotton dress box once in a while. ;) Especially with us going to Leadership Retreat with other doTERRA leaders soon. I got these at Old Navy the other day. Comfy AND cute, perfect for RV life and limited closet space. Because of this, I only kept the cold shoulder top. I am already looking forward to getting another Stitch fix again soon! If you are ready to try your hand at a Stitch Fix and push yourself out of a Fashion RUT, give it a whirl.

In the midst of the chaos of moving in, I got an email from Stitch Fix offering me a "free" fix, aka no styling fee, plus I had earned credits from the last time I blogged for them. We have a big convention coming up in Salt Lake City so I said YES. I have purged SO MUCH from my closet as we moved in, so I figure a few nice pieces added back in won't hurt, right?! ;) I didn't even bother taking the box home when it arrived, just tried it on right there at my moms where I get our mail, so I could drop the rejects right back in the mailbox. Stitch Fix always provides an already stamped bag for you to use, SO nice. Your stylist looks over your Pinterest board or selections from the style profile you pick out, and viola, great fashion, great fabrics designed to save you the trouble of running all over town shopping for good pieces. And I don't know about you, but I tend to go for the same kinds of pieces again and again, this helps me get out of my fashion rut. They always send these great little cards with ideas how to use the 5 pieces they sent. check it out: I think my stylist heard the words "I am going to a convention" and pictured me some fancy executive. {snort} We all know THAT isn't the case! Hahaha, but I do like some of the casual pieces!!! So let's see what the pieces look like....... First up, a red dress called Zola. SOOOO, this is SUPER TIGHT. I am NOT that dedicated to suck in this long. Cute but no, not fitting my lifestyle or trip at all. Next up, 3 of the remaining 4 pieces all in one outfit: Hate the shirt on me. Too baggy, too low and just too plain. I DO however, love love love the ripped jeans, super stretchy and soft AND THESE SHOES! OH MY WORD. They are so comfy. I am in love. These are a yes for sure. Last but not least, a blazer. A super duper soft, fully lined, navy blazer with striped insides. SUPER darling!!!! AMAZING fabrics. I'd want to wear it with a white lace shell under it, but alas, Momma didn't own one for me to try on. She did have this yellow one, so we shall try it. Um, no. MAYBE with a white lacey shell and some awesome dark jeans and heels, but no. Again not my style. We decide this was very much my MOM. So I made her try it on. Told you! She looks awesome in it!!! So, she kept it. Everyone wins with Stitch Fix!

And once again, they didn't disappoint! I got my fix at my Momma's house, so I had NO shoes or accessories to try on with the outfits, but you can use your imagination. Momma was sweet enough to photograph this fix for me, and guess what?! She is going to order her OWN Stitch Fix now! She was impressed with the high high quality fabrics and fully lined dresses. MARKET & SPRUCE Maeby Knit Dress I found this one too baggy and shapless! Into the NO pile it went... GILLI Viola Knit Dress This one was cute, but it kept wrinkling weird on top. SUPER soft, stretchy navy, pinky, purple and light blue fabric. Sad to see it go! Would've been darling with navy wedge heels! No pile. SKIES ARE BLUE Phiona Embroidered Dress I LOVE this one! SO cute and pockets make me SWOON! Totally a keeper with cute sandals and red accessories. Casual enough for shopping, but dressy enough for an afternoon out or lunch with the girls. YES pile! GILLI Ryland Knit 2fer Maxi Dress Darling long maxi dress, but heck no. I hate that the top fabric in NO way matches the bottom, and let's be honest, it is doing something super weird to my top half! No pile. 41HAWTHORN Erika Dress This dress is AMAZING! I feel like the photo is a bit too high to showcase the awesome lines of this dress, but use your imagination. Its really classy length, nice and fitted to show curves, but approriate and super perfect for a wedding with some dressy black heels and fun hot pink and black accessories! YES pile for sure. My fav! I will try to get a better photo of it at the wedding I will wear it to this summer.... :) Ready to try Stitch Fix with Momma B? https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/3137778 Hugs & happy shopping! ~ T The last week we were in Florida, was sheer MADNESS! We had so many people we wanted to see, so many last minute errands to do, and I had no idea we spread out so much during our winter in Florida, we had a TON to pack back up! And, as I shared yesterday, we had family wedding to attend, 2 days before we left town. With a business meeting, community class, wedding prep and packing to do, there was just NO time to go shopping. So I turned to Stitch Fix at midnight one night, and saw I could get a box of dresses the DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING. Risky, but tempting! No running from store to store to look at dresses made me decide it was worth a chance. So I wrote a note to my stylist and said I wanted 5 dress choices, in a variety of styles, colors and lengths. Here goes nothing. It arrived, the day before the wedding, as planned. We were in a HUGE hurry, setting up the barn, so I had the girls use my cell to snap quick pics of each. There was no time for real pics and nice shots, we had a wedding to set up for and I needed to pick a dress to wear for tomorrow's big day! The box looked hopeful, and right away I loved 2 and hated 2. Haha! This striped dress has amazing material, kinda stretchy and thick.... It's a keeper, and I love it! I will add a wide black belt too and maybe a crinoline skirt under. The back is super fun! Sorry the photo chops my feet off, I will do a cute black pump, or for Team doTERRA Dorothy events, bright red with red accessories. :) We also have several other weddings coming up! The back is super fun.... This navy sun dress is soft and cute, but I am not sure its cute enough to make the cut. Remember, I have a VERY limited closet in the RV! I fell in love with this one from the SECOND I opened the box! I was hoping it'd be a keeper and it WAS! This is the one I wore to the wedding with red accessories and ankle booties! For the sake of time, I didn't try on a violet lace number and a disgusting dusty teal long dress I hated even without putting it on! haha :) I am a child of the 80's, which means in elementary school in 1990's, I saw WAY TO MANY "dusty" soft button down shirts. YUCK! Those both went back, along with the navy one I didn't keep. I am mad I didn't get a picture with our family all dressed up for the wedding in the daylight, but here is a pic from the dance. I am super happy with the rose dress and look forward to wearing it again this year for several events we have coming up! Haven't tried Stitch Fix yet? WHAT are you waiting for?! Its SO FUN! And look, it saved me time to not have to run into town to try to find something for the wedding too.
